Grace Sinicrope

Neurobehavioral Therapy Technician

Grace Sinicrope.

I am currently pursuing my B.A and B.S in Psychology and Economics at the University of Loyola Chicago. My interest in Neurobehavioral Psychology grew after taking a developmental psychology course and learning more about how neuropsychology can be applied to children. I find it’s extremely rewarding and exciting to be able to give people the tools they need to overcome obstacles in their lives. During my internship at AFG under the supervision of Dr. Labkovsky, I saw how neurobehavioral therapy can help people with certain psychological conditions improve their quality of life.

I am interested in neurobehavioral therapy because of the opportunity it provides individuals to help themselves without medicine and the positive outcomes I see every time I work with a patient. This burgeoning field provides new options beyond traditional talk therapy or medication. NBT intrigues me because it allows for a personalized course of action and approach that allows individuals to improve symptoms of their psychological conditions. Neurobehavioral therapy allows for results to be seen not only through positive behavior and relief of symptoms, but also quantitatively and being able to see changes in the brain.

I am very excited to join the dedicated, talented group of practitioners at AFG. Through my extensive training and experience I believe I can be an innovative, inviting, and dynamic member of this team.
